In simple words, in the course of stomach problems or stomach contents rising back into the food pipe or esophagus and cause pain and discomfort for the patient. It should be noted that the contents of the stomach that climb back into the esophagus may be secretion of the gastrointestinal tract, as bile acids, liquids and semi-solid food particles. There are many causes of acid reflux disease, which should be prevented to avoid disturbing symptoms of the problem.
What are the common causes of acid reflux disease?
One of the main causes of acid reflux disease food itself. For example, there are some nutrients that can not tolerate the man. There are several people who experience acid reflux disease because of overeating, bad posture, during or after a meal. However, there are some physical conditions that contribute to heart burning and therefore produce the basis of heartburn disease. While these reasons can be seen in any individual, and there is a certain group of individuals, which considers this problem more often.
Most foods that are responsible for acid reflux disease spicy and bold in nature. Therefore, to avoid symptoms of heartburn or a burning heart, a man must take these foods are always in moderation. As already mentioned, that is another common cause of disease GERD is overeating, since in this condition, excessive stomach filled and unable to contain food. Therefore, proper gastric emptying is significantly delayed. If a person moves suddenly, the contents of the stomach to start the reverse direction, and they intend to climb back into the esophagus. Similarly, if someone is lying or bending after heavy meals, a disease of GERD should not be surprising for him.
There are several mechanical causes of disease GERD, as well. A person can experience this condition if his or her lower esophageal sphincter or food pipe is weak and does not work properly. This ring, which opens when food enters the stomach and closes when the food reached the inside of the stomach to prevent regurgitation. The second most important organic causes of disease GERD is a hiatal hernia. It is a condition in which the lower esophageal sphincter is in a wrong place, usually one to two inches above its actual location.
Acid reflux disease can also occur if the esophagus does not contract normally. When the esophagus contracts rhythmically, it pushes down the food particles from the esophagus into the stomach. If the fight is not good, food particles do not move down to the stomach properly. There are other modifiable causes of this condition as well. For example, smoking is one of the leading causes of acid reflux disease. Smoking is responsible for the failure of the lower esophageal sphincter, and hence it can generate acid reflux disease easily.
